Our Vision

Our vision in creating this community is to provide a safe and therapeutic refuge where survivors of abuse and other trauma can explore past and present issues, learn from each other, make new friends, and grow.

Our goal is to provide a supportive place where members, including moderators and admins will feel welcome and not feel isolated.

Our Values

We want all members to respect and support each other. If someone has an issue in the rooms or with other members and brings it to our attention we will look into it promptly. We will do our best to reply to all emails in a timely manner. Please be patient if your email is not answered immediately.

When possible and appropriate we will give warnings before banning any member. We will also state the reasons for our decision. These decisions will always be based on facts and not hearsay alone. If, however, someone enters the room and blatantly is disrespectful or vulgar, they will be banned immediately.

We as admins and moderators will be trustworthy and responsible to ourselves and to the members here. We are bound by the very guidelines which we have made. We are equal to any member.

We aim as admins and moderators to be approachable and understanding.

We ask that you support us as admins and moderators.

Finally, our vision is that we will form a community of members who will give and receive understanding and support and realize that we are never completely alone. No one person is a fortress; we cannot do this on our own.
