Survivors Chat does not and will never collect any sort of dues for being a member here. The support and healing that happens when abuse survivors come together is priceless. In no way do we ever want anybody here to feel pressured to give. Healing from abuse is hard enough on its own, without worrying about money issues.
If you are able to make a small donation, every dollar will go directly toward our site hosting and chat room fees.
For 2010, our new hosting company HostGator has generously given us free site hosting for being a nonprofit group! They have been so great to work with! So that means this year we don't need to raise as much money. Our expenses this year are as follows: $197.21 for the chat rooms, $51.68 for Jan-April with our old hosting company, and $15 for domain name registration. Any donations to help are always appreciated. Thank you for supporting survivors of all forms of abuse.
